The Great Hall, now known as Pridham Hall, is the University of South Australia’s newly commissioned convention hall, due to open in 2018. The facility will feature a full sports centre and swimming pool, with auditorium facilities for graduations, exams and cultural experiences.
Drafting Solutions has been engaged to provide fully coordinated shop drawings for all electrical systems, lighting, power and cable trays within the new building.
This project has presented with the unique challenge in that the shape of the roof, not being flat, provides an extra layer of complexity for the installation of the electrical systems.
Drafting Solutions worked carefully to deliver electrical service coordination and to ensure the electrical shop drawings accounted for the often tight and difficult ceiling spacing. Upon completion Drafting Solutions will also be providing as constructed drawings.
