The South Australian State Government delivered two birth to year 12 schools in 2022, the Riverbanks College in Angle Vale, and the Aldinga Payinthi College. The two new schools are part of a major program to establish best practice school infrastructure across the state, and each will accommodate 1,675 students at their initial opening, with master plans to accommodate future capacity to a maximum of 2,084 students.
Drafting Solutions was engaged to provide Services Coordination and Shop Drawings for the project, as well as Electrical and Security drafting.
The Super Schools encompassed two different sites, each site with multiple similar buildings. This made the document control challenging as many of the drawings were duplicated for each site and then minor amendments were made depending on the site.
Drafting Solutions worked with the different site teams at each site to ensure that everyone received the correct drawings and the returned markup drawings were actioned to the correct site.
