The redeveloped Port Adelaide Plaza has expanded the precinct from 19,000m2 to over 29,000m2. The $133 million redevelopment also features over 60 specialty stores to cater for the local community.
Drafting Solutions were engaged to complete the mechanical services drafting and lead services coordination.
Unique challenges were posted for the services coordination of this project, as the existing structure needed to be utilised, as well as incorporating new structural elements.
Multiple clash reports against the building structure were utilised to ensure a smooth installation on site for all service trades.
As the tenancy fitouts were evolving, Drafting Solutions worked closely with the site teams to minimise rework of fabricated ductwork, and to reduce the disruption to the installation of base build ductwork.
