The Health & Medical Research Building (HMRB) designed by Architectus within Flinders University will be a world-class biomedical research facility containing wet and dry laboratories, work areas & public spaces.
The overall project will be delivered in Q2 2024, and is valued at $255 million. Covering 22,000sqm and a building spanning 10 stories, this space will see world-class research translated into improved community healthcare outcomes.
Drafting Solutions have been engaged to provide lead services coordination, shop drawings, and as constructed drawings for the mechanical services component of the project, working with O.P Industries.
Our client has a design and construct contract with the managing contractor for the project, which adds complexities in designing the mechanical package whilst construction was underway.
Drafting Solutions works closely with our clients’ engineering team to ensure that the specific design requirements for the project were met. Processes were also put in place to guarantee contract delivery dates were achieved on site.
