The Ashburton Development is located 12km from the centre of Melbourne, and will provide 178 new accessible, safe, secure and energy-efficient homes for Victorian’s on the Markham Avenue site. The new project currently under construction will more than triple the dwellings available, and will be completed in early 2023.
Drafting Solutions was engaged to provide Services Coordination and Shop Drawings for the plumbing contractor on the project, CDC Plumbing & Drainage.
The Ashburton project site has proved to be very challenging due to the fall of the land. The basements of the new buildings are often under soil at one end, and completely exposed on the other side.
A great amount of care was taken by the Drafting Solutions team to ensure that all services sloped with the land, and that all services entering and exiting the buildings were concealed within the soil.
