Opened in early 2017, the 14-level Adelaide Health and Medical Sciences building, next door to SAHMRI, is part of the Adelaide University Health and Biomedical Precinct. With a project cost of $246 million, the hub will be an internationally recognised facility where students have access to new learning spaces, lecture halls, skill-based laboratories and medical training simulation.
Drafting Solutions provided fully coordinated cable tray electrical shop drawings, as well as the installation drawings for the entire electrical system throughout the building.
The building was designed with very little space for the services as it was such an architectural-based build, meaning there was a challenge fitting the necessary installations into the limited space throughout. This was one of our toughest challenges, to date, as Drafting Solutions.
Our drafting services involved delivering full electrical service coordination for the build, as well as supplying the client with the completed shop drawings, to allow the trades to carry out the electrical installation for the project.
